02General Data Processing

When you visit the website, data is automatically stored in log files, e.g. date, time, IP address, pages accessed, browser type and duration of the visit. This data is used exclusively for the technical operation, security and improvement of our website. No personal evaluation of the log files takes place.

We use cookies that are necessary for the website to function (e.g. session cookies). We also use an analytics tool to understand how our website is used (e.g. which source visitors come from). 05Participation in the Swiss Golf Awards (Voting)

When you take part in the voting, we collect your first and last name, date of birth, email address, mobile phone number, postal address, home club, and your selections in the individual award categories.

We use this information to conduct and evaluate the voting, to send the golf magazine by post, to process the prize draw (e.g. Edelweiss long-haul tickets, a stay at Lake Garda, and Titleist Pro V1 sets), and to maintain our contact database for future editions of the Swiss Golf Awards. The legal basis is the consent you provide when taking part.

06Newsletter via Mailchimp

We use the email address provided during your participation, and any other information provided, to inform you about the results of the Swiss Golf Awards and future editions.

Delivery is handled via Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC, USA). Mailchimp processes this data on behalf of House of Swiss Golf AG and does not use it for its own purposes. The data transfer is based on your consent.

07Disclosure to Third Parties

Your personal data is only disclosed to third parties if this is necessary to fulfil our services (e.g. postal/shipping providers for the magazine, prize partners such as Edelweiss) or if you have given your prior consent. We do not sell data.
